Earth Caretakers Camp 2024

This year, we organized a camp focused on environmental conservation and sustainability. Participants learned ecological practices like recycling, efficient water use, and the importance of protecting local flora and fauna. It was an educational experience inspiring attendees to be environmentally conscious.

Community Immersion Camp

In May, we held our second community immersion camp, where children experienced local economic activities. They learned to appreciate the land and recognize the craftsmanship behind products like cactus-based goods, organic soaps, tortillas, cheeses, and adobe bricks. This was achieved through direct involvement with the community and the families producing these items.

Summer Course 2024

In the first week of July, we held our traditional summer course with over 150 children from various communities. National and international volunteers supported activities like swimming, arts, music, games, sports, theater, and dance.

New Pickleball Court

We now have a new sports area where community families and visitors can enjoy practicing different sports. This promotes healthy social interaction, physical development, and mental well-being. The space is also used for volleyball, basketball, and other activities.

Summer Course 2022

In the month of July, the summer course was held with 160 children from different communities and national and international volunteer teachers. We had the opportunity to share workshops in arts, swimming, literature, acting, sports, handmade soaps, vegetable garden, music, among others. Earth Care Camp is a great learning adventure. It aims to develop in children a broader understanding and deeper feelings for the planet so they can serve as environmental role models and advocates for living things.
